HOW WE PROMOTE OUR EVENTS

The Events department has been a part of Essex County Newspapers (Newsquest Essex Ltd) for over 17 years, and we have worked hard to build a good reputation amongst visitors and exhibitors alike.

By advertising and promoting our fairs and exhibitions within all of our publications 6 week prior to each event, and on local radio the week prior to each event we maximise public awareness.

Our Newspaper publications cover Mid and North Essex, Colchester and Coastal, with a combined readership of over 365,000 per week. We also reach approximately 164,000 on line readers a month.

We regularly attract hundreds of visitors from Colchester and surrounding Towns and Villages within a 20 - 30 mile radius. In fact our average footfall at any of our Wedding Fairs that have taken place over the last 5 years is just under 1,000.

Banners and posters are also displayed at the event venue, in our offices, and every exhibitor is sent a poster to display in their premises.
